PRIVATE CUSTOMISED CAR TOUR
Our private customised car tours follow the same format as our private customised walking tours but with the addition of a private hire vehicle. They are ideal for those who have difficulty walking, families with small children, people who find the humidity difficult to contend with and for those who tire more easily. Our vans can seat a maximum of 12 passengers plus the guide and driver.
If you also have luggage the maximum is 8 passengers plus the guide and driver.
Take a private customised car tour and we will put an itinerary together that ensures you see the things that will interest you the most and at a pace that suits you.
Our customised private car tours of Singapore last from 4 to 8-hours; your tour length is your choice. You can start your tour at any time from 8am to 6pm allowing you to book a day tour or a night tour.
Your Hello Singapore private tour guide will meet you at your hotel, your cruise terminal or the airport if you are on a layover.
When you book your Singapore car tour you will answer a number of questions about your interests and what you hope to get out of your tour. We will then use your answers to design a tour specifically for you.
If you have not been to Singapore before and have no preferences we will give you a comprehensive city tour. We will focus on combining touristic highlights with local neighbourhoods and hidden gems. You will learn about the fascinating culture and history of Singapore.
We can combine some of the must see’s like the Singapore River and riding the Singapore Flyer with something a little more off the beaten track to ensure that you see Singapore for what it really is; a melting pot of cultures and flavours. It is a city which has seen unprecedented growth, a city which competes on the global playing field despite its tiny size. It has been beautifully designed with the intention not just to be ‘green’, but to be a City in a Garden. It is a city where efficiency, style, gastronomies and cultures meet like in no other.
If you are a foodie but do not want to do our full food tour we can combine foodie elements into your Singapore Customised Private Car Tour, ensuring that you still get a wonderful mouthwatering taste of Singapore.
If you would like to pick up some souvineers en route we can show you our favorite markets. Perhaps you are a budding photographer and would like to visit the most photogenic locations… Or an architect with an interest in learning about the city from a town planning perspective…Whatever it is we will ensure that your customized car tour is exactly what you are looking for.
We do accept last minute bookings so if you are already in Singapore please do contact us for our last minute availability.
We cover the following topics on every tour, how much detail we go into depends on how interested you are in each topic!

INFORMATION FOR PEOPLE ON AIRPORT LAYOVERS
We can pick you up and drop you off at the airport for no extra cost.
We suggest starting from the airport arrivals 1 hour after flight arrival time. This allows for enough time for you to get off the plane and pass through immigration. We suggest finishing layover tours 2 hours before the onward flight. This allows for 30 minutes to get back to the airport and an hour to get to your gate (in normal circumstances you will not require more than 30 mins). Most flights start boarding 30 minutes before take off. The above timings are generous IF you are already checked in for your onward flight and do not have to collect luggage and check in again. When choosing your tour length please do bear in mind that the airport is a 30 min drive from the city so you will spend one hour travelling there and back with your guide.
INFORMATION FOR PEOPLE ON CRUISE SHIPS
There are two main cruise terminals in Singapore; Marina Bay Cruise Centre and HarbourFront Terminal Singapore Cruise Centre. Whichever one you arrive into we will meet you in the cruise passenger hall next to where you disembark. We will send you a picture of our exact meeting point. Both are ‘in-town’ so there is very little travel time from picking you up to seeing our first sights!
